The praise is for Allaah, and may peace and greetings be upon the Messenger of Allaah and upon his family and his Companions and whosoever follows their guidance. To proceed:

Authentic Statements was primarily established to introduce the Muslims to the scholars of Ahlus-Sunnah and the popular speakers who follow them in knowledge by way of both audio and visual materials.With the Muslims in the west in mind, it is our intention to bridge the gap, which more often than not is no more than a language barrier, with those who invite to Allâh with wisdom and insightful preaching. The messenger of Allâh (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “the scholars are the heirs of the prophets, for the prophets do not leave behind any dinars nor dirhams (monetary wealth) but they leave behind knowledge, whoever receives this knowledge, receives an abundance of good fortune” (Al-Tirmidhi). It is these scholars and popular speakers whom protect and uphold the blessed call of Islâm and it is our intention here at Authentic Statements to assist the Muslims in benefiting from the knowledge which Allâh has blessed them with.

We hope and pray that our growing audio and visual collection of authentic statements will be a means for the Muslims, both here in America and abroad, to cleanse (Tasfiyah) and cultivate (Tarbiyah) their souls as Allâh intended when He said, “He it is Who sent among the unlettered ones a Messenger (Muhammad SAW) from among themselves, reciting to them His Verses, purifying them (from the filth of disbelief and polytheism), and teaching them the Book (this Qur'ân, Islamic laws and Islamic jurisprudence) and Al-Hikmah (As-Sunnah: legal ways, orders, acts of worship, etc. of Prophet Muhammad SAW). And verily, they had been before in manifest error”. (Al-Jumu'ah 62:2)
