A quick word on the author is that he is avoided, the scholars have spoken about him like Muhammad al bannah, rabee’, Abdullah adh dhafeeree and other than them. And collectively it was said to avoid him. Na’am he is a scholar but he fell into some mistakes (some of which are major) but we don’t do tabdee’ all we say is he is to be avoided. And I asked a brother who studies under shaykh Abu khadeejah about this and he said what was aforementioned regarding the author. However we are allowed to read his books such as this one as the scholars and students of knowledge have gone over this and revised it and it’s sole by the trust worthy bookshops such as this one (authentic statements may الله reserve them).

This book is wAllaahi a great book. The first thing any Muslim should know is Laa Ilaaha ill allaah, what it means and what its conditions and nullifiers as that’s what makes a kaafir a Muslim. This book goes over all of that in great detail.
